Smilde Foods Research Centre
Smilde Foods operates a large part of the supply chain in house: from the development of ideas through to production, marketing and sales. Our creative designers and food technologists work continuously in their research centre on developing new products and innovative packaging. With specialist production sites in Emmen, Heerenveen and Oosterwolde, we can provide an exceptional response to seasonal influences

To ensure the swift data exchange with our customers, Smilde Foods is EDI-certified. Our waste processing management is GMP-certified and in terms of food safety, our production sites have achieved the IFS (higher) level International Food Standard certificate. We have also been awarded the SKAL-certificate for the manufacture of organic products such as oils for frying, margarines and quiches.
